Dev Log 8 - The first loop

I’m back on track! Wasn’t exactly sure where to go since last time, I got a long list of minor things that needed to be done, so that's what I did. Though the first relic has been added in, nothing too special, but still exciting.
Relics
Like I mentioned above, the first relic has been added into Layer 1! At this point there is no real difficulty to find it, just get to the right area and then it's a dice roll. Moving from here I'm thinking I either want to go down the route of a potential minigame, or like other scenes you play out, have the player wander through an area, with a magnitude of options to pick from. Or even a combination of the two.
But it's the start of the first game loop, explore, gather relics, go back and sell it, rinse and repeat!

Now that there's relics we need a place to sell them! I took what I had before and cleaned up the UI to make it more user friendly. Not great, but close.
New Character Art
I had a request before regarding male characters and art, so the first implementation is in. The most important aspect is the sprites used aren’t based on your genitals, instead how masculine or feminine the game thinks you are. For example, do you have a cock? That's a pretty good sign you're a guy, but you also have long hair and massive tits, well I’ll lean more towards just a chick with a dick.
Ultimately I want 3 sets of sprites, male, female and androgynous. Swapping out the body shape, jawline, eyes, etc to reflect them much more better.
Tavern
Expanding on the scene system I wanted to set up the tavern to flesh out the job system, and test out some audio stuff. Be a waiter, make some money, but know the clientele will harass you. Soon to include more extreme events.
Also going to be using it next update as a way to test out the intoxication system.
Dildo!
Bit of a side track, but you guys asked for it, and now use that new dildo you bought! Go visit the tavern or homeless shelter, get some privacy and go for it.
Smarter NPCs
Following on from the last update the NPCs will prioritize what kind of actions they want to do based on their stats, and how they are feeling at the moment. Are they rational? Aggressive? Seduced? Different actions you take will change this, and therefore lead to them acting in different ways.
The other plan is adding more into the game, and more NPC based events. The only one right now occurs when you wake up after passing out. Next update I want them to trigger when looking for the relic, exploring the layer, and just throughout the town.

What's next?
So NPC’s are still a large focus, having more events that can pop up including them. And the first real fights when traveling in the wilderness. This will also probably include adding in new creature types. I've been researching what kind of creatures explore layer 1, so look forward to that.
Stat wise, I'm looking to get intoxication, hunger, and bladder working. The tavern is going to be a great place to test these out.
Potentially new art for the androgynous body type as mentioned before.
Finally more relics and curses. I have some art for a tail lying around, and I want to see that in!
